1. What RoleTune Provides
RoleTune is an online service designed to help job seekers improve how their existing experience is presented for specific job opportunities.
The service may provide features including:
- CV analysis;
- job-description analysis;
- requirement matching;
- evidence mapping;
- CV tailoring;
- application tracking;
- cover-letter assistance;
- application-answer assistance;
- interview preparation;
- Career Profile functionality;
- career evidence storage;
- generated documents and recommendations.
RoleTune uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to provide some of these features.
2. RoleTune Is an Advisory Service
RoleTune provides guidance and generated content to assist with job applications.
We do not:
- act as a recruiter;
- act as an employment agency;
- make hiring decisions;
- guarantee interviews;
- guarantee job offers;
- guarantee employment;
- guarantee that a CV will pass any particular applicant tracking system;
- guarantee that an employer will interpret your experience in a particular way.
Recruitment decisions are made by employers, recruiters and other third parties over whom we have no control.
Any score, match assessment, recommendation or generated output provided by RoleTune is advisory.
3. Your Responsibility for Accuracy
RoleTune is designed around the principle:
Never invent. Find the evidence.
We aim to generate suggestions based on information you provide.
However, automated systems can make mistakes.
You are responsible for reviewing all content before submitting it to an employer or recruiter.
You must ensure that your CV, cover letters, application answers and other materials accurately represent:
- your employment history;
- qualifications;
- responsibilities;
- achievements;
- skills;
- certifications;
- experience;
- dates;
- job titles;
- other factual information.
You must not knowingly submit false or misleading information through RoleTune.
4. Your Account
You may need an account to use some RoleTune features.
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate account information;
- keeping your login credentials secure;
- maintaining control of your account;
- notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must not:
- share your account with another person where the account is intended for individual use;
- create accounts using false identities;
- access another user's account without permission;
- attempt to bypass account controls or usage restrictions.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by a failure on our part.
5. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to use paid RoleTune services.
RoleTune is intended primarily for people seeking employment.
The service is not designed for children.
6. User Content
“User Content” means information or material you provide to RoleTune, including:
- CVs;
- career information;
- job descriptions;
- application answers;
- notes;
- interview notes;
- Career Profile information;
- documents;
- text entered into the service.
You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant us a limited licence to process, store, reproduce and transform your User Content only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide RoleTune;
- generate requested outputs;
- maintain your account;
- improve the functionality of your account;
- provide support;
- secure and operate the service.
This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to any legal, technical or backup-retention requirements described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Responsibility for Uploaded Content
You must only upload content that:
- belongs to you; or
- you are otherwise entitled to use.
You should avoid uploading unnecessary personal information relating to other people.
You must not upload content that:
- infringes intellectual property rights;
- contains unlawful material;
- contains malicious software;
- contains confidential information you are not entitled to disclose;
- is intended to harm another person;
- is fraudulent or deceptive.
8. Generated Content
RoleTune may generate:
- rewritten CV text;
- suggested achievements;
- role-match assessments;
- cover letters;
- application answers;
- interview preparation;
- career summaries;
- other application-related content.
Generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.
You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before using it.
You should not rely on RoleTune as the sole source of truth for matters such as:
- employment eligibility;
- legal requirements;
- visa status;
- professional accreditation;
- salary expectations;
- recruitment policy;
- qualification requirements.
9. Career Profile
RoleTune may allow you to create or maintain a Career Profile containing structured information about your experience.
This may include:
- previous roles;
- projects;
- achievements;
- skills;
- technologies;
- qualifications;
- leadership experience;
- commercial experience;
- other career evidence.
RoleTune may reuse Career Profile information in future analyses.
You remain responsible for keeping that information accurate.
You may edit or delete Career Profile information through available account controls.
10. Free Service
RoleTune may provide certain features free of charge.
The current free offering may include features such as:
- CV upload;
- limited job analysis;
- an overall match assessment;
- selected evidence insights;
- limited recommendations.
Free features may change over time.
We may place reasonable limits on free usage.
11. Paid Products
RoleTune may offer paid products including:
One Role Tune
A one-off purchase providing access to a complete analysis and tailored CV for one vacancy.

30-Day Job Hunt
A one-off purchase providing access to eligible RoleTune features for 30 days.
Price:
£24.99
This is not a recurring subscription unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.
Prices shown on the website at the time of purchase apply.
We may change prices for future purchases.
A price change will not retrospectively alter a completed transaction.
12. 30-Day Job Hunt Fair Use
The 30-Day Job Hunt product is intended for normal personal job-search activity.
Where described as unlimited, this is subject to reasonable fair use.
You must not use the service for:
- automated mass processing;
- bulk recruitment operations;
- processing CVs on behalf of large numbers of third parties;
- scraping;
- reselling;
- systematic API-style usage;
- activity that places unreasonable load on the service.
If usage is clearly abusive or outside ordinary personal job-search behaviour, we may temporarily limit access or contact you to resolve the issue.
13. Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe.
By making a purchase, you agree to provide accurate billing information.
We do not normally receive or store your full card details.
A purchase is not complete until payment has been successfully confirmed.
Where access is granted following a successful payment, our payment provider's confirmed transaction record may be used as the source of truth.
14. Digital Service Access
RoleTune provides digital services that may begin immediately after purchase.
Where applicable under consumer law, you may be asked at checkout to request immediate access to the digital service and acknowledge that beginning supply may affect your cancellation rights.
Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
15. Refunds
We want paid users to receive the service they purchased.
If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing a paid RoleTune feature, contact us so that we can investigate.
Refund requests will be considered in accordance with:
- applicable UK consumer law;
- whether the digital service has already been supplied;
- the nature of the problem;
- the extent to which the purchased service has already been used.
We may issue a refund where required by law or where we reasonably consider it appropriate.
We are not required to provide a refund merely because:
- you did not receive an interview;
- an employer rejected your application;
- you changed your mind after substantially using the service;
- you disagree with an employer's hiring decision.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
16. Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are a UK consumer, you may have statutory cancellation rights in relation to online purchases.
For digital services or digital content supplied immediately, those rights may be affected once performance begins with your express request or consent, depending on the nature of the service and applicable law.
The checkout process may therefore ask you to:
- request immediate access; and
- acknowledge the consequences for any statutory cancellation period.
Where a statutory right to cancel still applies, we will honour it.
17. Intellectual Property
The RoleTune service, including:
- software;
- branding;
- design;
- user interface;
- databases;
- methodologies;
- prompts;
- scoring systems;
- proprietary workflows;
- website content;
is owned by or licensed to Elevyn Technology Group Limited.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, reproduce, resell, distribute or exploit RoleTune except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
18. Your Rights in Generated Documents
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use documents generated for you by RoleTune for your personal job-search purposes.
This includes:
- tailored CVs;
- cover letters;
- application answers;
- interview notes;
- other generated application materials.
You are responsible for checking them for accuracy before use.
19. Prohibited Use
You must not use RoleTune to:
- impersonate another person;
- create deliberately false employment histories;
- fabricate qualifications;
- misrepresent professional licences or certifications;
- defraud employers;
- submit applications on behalf of others without permission;
- interfere with the service;
- probe or attack our systems;
- bypass security controls;
- scrape or bulk-download service content;
- reverse engineer protected parts of the service;
- use automated tools in a way that causes unreasonable load;
- resell RoleTune without permission;
- use the service for unlawful purposes.
20. Service Availability
We aim to keep RoleTune available and reliable.
However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- upgrades;
- outages;
- third-party service failures;
- security incidents;
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may change, add or remove features as the service develops.
Where practical, we will avoid making changes that unfairly remove paid access already purchased.
21. Third-Party Services
RoleTune may rely on third-party services such as:
- payment providers;
- cloud infrastructure;
- AI providers;
- authentication services;
- email providers;
- analytics;
- document-processing services.
We are not responsible for third-party services that are outside our control.
Their own terms and privacy policies may apply where you interact with them directly.
22. Job Listings and External Websites
RoleTune may allow you to paste or reference job listings from third-party websites.
We do not control:
- whether a vacancy is genuine;
- whether it remains available;
- whether information in the listing is accurate;
- the employer's recruitment process;
- the employer's privacy practices.
You should verify important information directly with the employer or recruiter.
23. No Employment Relationship
Using RoleTune does not create:
- an employment relationship;
- an agency relationship;
- a recruiter-candidate relationship;
- a partnership;
- a fiduciary relationship
between you and Elevyn Technology Group Limited.
24. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
This includes liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud;
- fraudulent misrepresentation;
- other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those limits, RoleTune is provided as an advisory digital service.
We are not liable for recruitment decisions made by third parties.
We are not responsible for losses arising solely because:
- an employer rejects an application;
- an interview is not offered;
- a job offer is not made;
- a recruiter interprets your experience differently;
- an ATS processes your application differently than expected.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects statutory protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
25. Business Users
If you use RoleTune in the course of a business, profession or recruitment activity rather than as an individual consumer, additional or different terms may apply.
The standard RoleTune service is primarily designed for personal job-search use.
26. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe:
- these Terms have been seriously breached;
- the service is being abused;
- fraudulent activity is occurring;
- security is at risk;
- usage is unlawful;
- payment has been reversed or fraudulently obtained.
Where practical and appropriate, we may give you an opportunity to resolve the issue first.
You may stop using RoleTune at any time.
You may also request account deletion subject to any legal retention obligations.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as RoleTune develops or legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.
Where changes materially affect existing paid users, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Changes will not retrospectively remove statutory rights.
28. Privacy
Our processing of personal information is governed by the RoleTune Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights available under applicable consumer law or from bringing a claim before a court with jurisdiction.
